| Power
Failures
If your rely on electricity for operation of essential equipment, a power failure can mean more than an inconvenience. Gone undetected, a power outage can cause extensive property loss. Sump pump failure due to a power failure is a very common occurrence and responsible for many a costly clean up. Food in basement freezers may become tainted during an undetected power loss.

| Temperature
Monitoring
Heating systems can fail, and cold temperatures can cause pipes to burst, especially at unattended vacation homes. By installing a low temperature sensor, the sensor can notify Citadel’s Central Monitoring Station, so that help can be sent to rectify the problem before the situation worsens. If the temperature goes above or below the pre-set standards, the temperature sensor will enunciate at the home control panel and also signal our Central Monitoring Station. These temperature sensors are ideal for freezers, greenhouses, wine cellars, and especially vacation homes.

| Water
Level
Water damage from a failed sump pump or condensate pumps can cause extensive damage. Sensor probes can be located in any potentially wet locations to enunciate the problem at each keypad, calling attention to the problem. In addition, the water sensor, through the control panel, signals Citadel’s Central Station so that the homeowner’s emergency notification list can be notified if no one is home at the time. A thin film of water bridging the sensor probe contacts is all that is needed to initiate an alarm condition. The sensor probe is specially designed so that it will not alarm due to condensation or high humidity. In addition, the control panel can activate a solenoid valve at the incoming water service to shut off the main water supply.
